hockey is so boring during the long regular season. it only becomes slightly interesting during the playoffs.

Actually the hockey season is around 80 games ... compared to major league baseball's 160 ... that's not too bad ...
Mind you ... I will agree with you that most major league sports have seasons which are too long ... with perhaps the exception of football ... which is the PERFECT length ... |
